YU research group
Low Dimensional Materials Laboratory
The research interests of YU group are the fundamental characterizations and applications of two-dimensional (2D) atomic crystals. In particular, we fabricate and characterize the van der Waals (vdW) field effect transistors toward performance enhancement by employing transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) channel, hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) insulating layer and graphene electrode. By various straightforward processes leading to remarkable enhancement in the performance, we are studying for the demonstration and characterization of novel nano-materials based emerging optical and electrical devices such as neuromorphic and in-memory computing electronics.
June 2025
We are currently looking for highly motivated and creative Postdoctoral Research Scientists, Graduate and Undergraduate Students. Please feel free to contact Prof. Young-Jun Yu (yjyu@cnu.ac.kr) for futher inquiry.
